The iPhone application, made by Proteg-Go, is designed to work in all crisis situations, natural disasters and medical emergencies included, and offers people a one-click way to get help faster than if they were to dial 9-1-1. It’s a proud moment for us and the developer community that today App Store is filled with over 775,000 applications for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Last year App Store has passed 40 billion downloads in which 20 billion downloads were recorded during 2012 with nearly two billion downloads happened in December alone. The press release today says that there are over 500 million active accounts on App Store worldwide that shows the growing Apple’s user base and its popularity.
