JD Edwards can call and process external Web Services and to enable JDE as a Web Services Consumer, a web service can be created using a web-services proxy to call an external Web Service. E1 Business Services is the alternative name for Web Services. The world is now moving towards SOA, and so E1 has implemented business services as a gateway that provides native web services capabilities such as to develop, publish, consume and administer.

The final day at Oracle OpenWorld started later than usual to what we’d been experiencing for the past few days. The keynote on Unlocking Innovation and the Value of Embedded Intelligence on Devices, started off by Edward Screven, Chief Corporate Architect at Oracle started at 9 am. Screven talked about a technology trends that will have a profound impact on individuals, companies as well as governments.

This year’s Oracle OpenWorld is all about how to provide the best to the customer. The fourth day’s activities started off on that very note, keynote to be exact. Michael Dell, Founder and Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive, Dell Inc, started off the day with his keynote on Delivering Customer Value.

We started off day three with the early bird keynotes at Oracle OpenWorld. Joe Tucci, Chairman and Chief Executive of the EMC Corporation started off the, Lead Your Transformation, address by talking about the transition in IT. He mentioned four key macro trends driving this transition:

Oracle OpenWorld’s second day got underway nice and early, 8am to be precise. Oracle President Mark Hurd started off the Keynotes session, Transforming Businesses with Big Data and Analytics, with a big show of support for Oracle Team USA by involving the crowd in a big cheer for the sailing team.

So the most awaited Oracle event of the year finally kicked off in San Francisco. Here’s a look at the inaugural activities from the first day of Oracle OpenWorld. The day started off with the welcoming smiles of the ladies at the registration desk. The place was buzzing with energy with an atmosphere tailored for people to connect.

Well the answer is quite simple. Oracle open world is the biggest events of the year attracting everyone from developers, consultants, CEOs, managers and business to be a part of this phenomenal experience. The hype is understandable; it’s not every day that all the big players of the IT and consulting world come together under one roof- the opportunities are limitless. Collaborations, partnerships and most importantly the wave of innovative knowledge are all very real possibilities of this conference. Oracle Open World is the hub for all the latest updates, developments and news pertaining to business oriented software.

The allure of ERP is immense. But as any other business decision, you should have a strong business case to advocate it as being valuable for your organization and also justifying the huge capital to be invested. Oracle’s vast sales network of sales pros worldwide in Key Accounts, Field Sales, Inside Sales, and Channels rely on Oracle Sales Cloud at every passing moment as it makes Oracle’s revenue climb to greater heights ($37 billion according to the company’s annual report).

Big data is now posing itself as the next frontier for innovation, competition and productivity.
