TCS Private Limited selected Ephlux to streamline processes with Oracle Sales Cloud
Ephlux implemented Oracle Sales cloud for TCS – TCS Courier (Tranzum Courier Services) is a Pakistani courier service company headquartered in Karachi. TCS maintains several thousand locations within Pakistan and worldwide as well as its own airline operations, delivery vehicles and couriers
Pakistan’s most recognizable and preferred courier, logistics and e-commerce provider; TCS provides services to the corporate sector, SMEs and household customers. With a widespread network of 800+ outlets in 380 cities, 480 satellite-tracked vehicles, a dedicated Boeing-737, a proficient team of more than 4,000 couriers and the fastest digital printing facility in the country, TCS leads the industry in terms of both service and reliability. In addition to its domestic services, TCS operates on the global environment as well and provides its customers access to over 3,500+ destinations worldwide.
Problem
Before our project kicked off TCS Pakistan did not have a sales force automation system in place. All of their business units were run by manual processes and they turned out to be unmanageable with no integration between different systems. They had a limited view of customer visibility, sales pipeline, analytics and sales intelligence. The sales representatives were spending more time searching for information, leaving the sales managers concerned about missing their sales quota.Their requirement includes a quotation module that should be integrated with the system so they can create quotes.
Solution
Ephlux initiated the project by conducting a requirement gathering workshop that took a duration of a week to understand the sales processes and daily routine of each sales person. The solution proposed considered all 3 business units (Industrial, Business, Healthcare) collectively, along with the specific requirements that were discussed during the workshop. All business units were running entirely different sales processes, so Ephlux used a phased approach to handle the project.
Ephlux implemented a customized solution for all business units and provided them the functionality that was OOTB, not available, which included quotation and integration. Now TCS Pakistan has an automated system for managing customer and contact data, and all their master data is now located in Oracle’s Sales Cloud, integrated with their ERP. Their sales Managers now have a 360 Degree View, Higher Conversion Rates and Real Time Analytics to improve their sales force efficiency.
